Review: Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Vs BlackBerry Z3 Specs and Camera

BlackBerry Z3

Mobile phones have become ubiquitous because they allow the user to access the Internet while “on the go;” this is particular valuable for business people who may need to access information and contact their colleagues immediately. In this article we will compare and contrast two brands of mobile phone — the BlackBerry Z3 and the Galaxy Grand 2.

The BlackBerry Z3

One of the most attractive features of the BlackBerry Z3 is its keyboard, on which typing requires less effort. Not only that, but the keyboard can even adapt to the way in which the owner types, each user having his or her own patterns that are as unique as fingerprints or walking patterns. It can even predict what the user is likely to say next, enabling faster typing; sometimes it even seems like the machine does the user’s thinking for him! Other benefits of the Z3 include organizing conversations and email messages, a camera with Time Shift adjustment and fast webpage loading and sharing capacities. Webpages can also be viewed more clearly thanks to easy formatting.

Samsung Galaxy Grand 2

The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is slightly larger than the BlackBerry Z3 and has greater resolution (720 × 1280 pixels vs. 540 × 960). It microSD slot has twice as much memory (64 GB), and the owner can buy even more. The two have many features in common, but the Galaxy lacks the noise cancellation with dedicated mic that the BlackBerry has. However, it does have compass sensors in addition to the accelerometer and proximity sensors common to both. Likewise, the BlackBerry has only geo-tagging, while the Galaxy also has touch focus and face / smile detection. On the other hand, only the BlackBerry has maps, an organizer, a video editor, voice memo / dial and predictive text input of the kind mentioned in the previous section. The BlackBerry is also considerably less expensive than the Galaxy. Data features common to both include GPRS, EDGE, WLAN (the Galaxy also has dual band), Bluetooth and USB. Neither has an infrared port.
