Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Other Games Heading to the Nintendo eShop

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS sells over 705,000 copies in 2 days

Nintendo has confirmed Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, the first instalment from Nintendo’s well-known series on handheld, will be heading to the Nintendo eShop along with other titles and deals at the beginning of October.

Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight, 99Seconds and Street Fighter Alpha 2 will all be available for download in the same week as Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, while Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai and Tappingo are the two titles to be discounted on the Nintendo eShop.

New titles on the Nintendo eShop:

  • Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS (available October 3rd) — €44.99/£39.99
  • Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight (available October 2nd on Nintendo 3DS) — €4.99/£4.49
  • 99Seconds (available October 2nd on Wii U) — €2.49/£2.29
  • Street Fighter Alpha 2 (available October 2nd on Wii U) — €7.99/£5.49

Reduced titles (both available from October 2nd):

  • Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai (promotion ends October 23rd on Nintendo 3DS) — €5.99/£5.25
  • Tappingo (promotion ends October 16th on Nintendo 3DS) — €1.99 / £1.69

Earlier this month, Nintendo announced the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS National Open Tournament, which is a special competition taking place nationwide at GameStop stores in the United States when the title is released. Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is scheduled for release in North America and Europe on October 3rd, 2014.
