Gaming Publisher: Rising Star Games Looks for Deviant Artist

On August 21, 2014, Rising Stars Games, the gaming publisher of Carrier Command: Gaea Mission, Beybalde: Evolution, CloudBuilt, and Deadly Premonition, has tweeted an unusual request to followers; these folks must find an inactive artist known as “deddoheddo” from Deviant Art.

Although Rising Stars Games did not disclose or explain the purpose for this investigation, they are celebrating their 10th anniversary, counting down to October 10th, and handing out monthly surprises.  Henceforth, they’re most-likely going to hire this artist to create illustrations that correspond to these events or their games in a creative form as shown on the featured image.

By visiting his or her gallery or portfolio, deddoheddo has done several digital works on popular video games, including Metal Gear Solid, Sonic, and Mario. These masterpieces resemble the digital age of pixel works when grid-size heads and puny bodies exist.  Either way, this inactive person has contacted the publisher through twitter, which seems to be another indirect method to hire potential workers.

For starters, the Ninja Theory, the developer of  Heavenly Sword and DMC, has also hired another employee through this communication. Besides this innovative studio, online users who are searching for employment can also find big industries adding hash-tags for open positions as well. Although technology offers various ways to communicate, international online users must remember that digital contents and information can easily be access by others.

Though public access can either hurt or help some people, this openness has landed a great opportunity for this Deviant member.  As such,  future viewers should expect to see this art style from this publisher’s upcoming news, tweets, and more. After reading this content, is hiring through twitter a new trend or the best method for gaming industries? Who knows, maybe our readers might even be hired by a potential employer after uploading a video game one day!
