For a limited time Microsoft is offering anyone with a Xbox Live Gold subscription the chance to play the Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive for free for 24 hours. Starting this weekend on November 22 at 12:01 am Eastern, all Live Gold subscribers will have 24 hours to play the game until November 23 at 12:01 when the offer ends. The full game will be playable during this offer and players will be able to earn achievements and will be able to save their progress. If you purchase the game, you will be able to start right where you left off during this promotion. You will also be able to play the 8 player Co-operative mode known as Chaos mode, which is unlocked after spending some time in the single player game. Insomniac games has also announced that after this offer they will be showcasing several new weapons that will soon be available for the game.
If you haven’t picked up Sunset Overdrive and have a Xbox Live Gold subscription then this is a perfect opportunity to give this game a try. A game that maybe hasn’t sold as well as Microsoft or Insomniac would have liked, hence this offer.
