Grand Theft Auto V

Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto V has emerged at the top of the UK sales chart after fending off strong competition from Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and EA Sports’ FIFA 15.

Advanced Warfare, the latest installment in the Call of Duty franchise, picked up a number of accolades towards the end of 2014, including the biggest entertainment launch, best-selling console game and most streamed title on Twitch during its launch week.

Sledgehammer Games’ title, however, could not hold on to its position at number one for another consecutive week.

Meanwhile, the popular FIFA 15 remains in third place and Far Cry 4 also keeps its position at fourth, while Ubisoft’s open-world racing title The Crew moves up to number five and, as a result, leaves Assassin’s Creed Unity to drop one place.
