Correction, October 29, 2026: An earlier version presented a personal account and detailed claims about crowd conditions at Anime Expo without sufficient evidence available to our editors. We have removed those passages and the first-person headline. The absence of evidence in our records does not establish what any attendee did or did not experience.
Anime Expo 2026 was scheduled for July 2–5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The organizer’s 2026 event schedule lists programming for each of the four days.
What the organizer published
The schedule identifies events, locations and times. The organizer also provides an hours and maps page with convention-area maps, including a 2026 line-location map. These resources describe the event layout and planned programming; they do not independently establish how long people waited or the conditions attendees encountered.
What we cannot verify
We cannot substantiate the earlier article’s individual recollections, descriptions of particular incidents, or conclusions about the organizers’ decisions from the evidence in our records. We are not claiming that every attendee had the same experience, and we have not independently established the causes of any particular crowding complaint.
Planning for another Anime Expo
For a future event, check the organizer’s current schedule, maps and admission rules rather than relying on a previous year’s plan. Event policies and room capacities may change, and the 2026 schedule is a historical record, not a schedule for another year.
