Virtus.pro and Team Falcons were crowned the Finals 2 Champions of the PUBG EMEA Championship: Fall (PEC) and PUBG Americas Series 2 (PAS2) after three days of regional action. The two regional competitions form part of the PUBG Esports path to the global championship. Both teams finished the weekend with commanding leads over the rest of the field, and the two results carried PGC 2026 qualification stakes.
Finals 2 Dominance in EMEA and the Americas
Virtus.pro won the PUBG EMEA Championship: Fall Finals 2. The title made up for a 13th place finish in Finals 1. The team delivered a dominant Finals 2 performance that swept the lobby and secured the regional title. The EMEA result overturned that earlier placement. In the Americas, Team Falcons won the PUBG Americas Series 2 Finals 2. They posted back-to-back first place finishes in Finals 1 and Finals 2, proof the squad has adapted to the 2026 competitive environment.
PGC 2026 Qualification Race and the Road Ahead
Regional PUBG Esports play determines which teams qualify to PGC through PGC Points. Those regional PGC Points slots are the first qualification group for the global event. In EMEA, the teams already qualified through regional PGC Points are Virtus.pro, Natus Vincere, 09, and Twisted Minds. In the Americas, the qualified group is Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Godlike, and Circle Nine.
Teams outside the current qualified group can still reach PGC through a strong performance at the upcoming PUBG Global Series Circuit 4. If Virtus.pro qualifies through PGS, the original PGC qualification slot earned at PEC redistributes to the next best team from the region’s PGC Points leaderboard. Acend Club and Copenhagen Wolves could then qualify to PGC 2026.
PGC 2026 takes place in Türkiye, and the event includes a host region seed for a Turkish team. The next step on the global calendar is the PUBG Global Series Circuit 4. That circuit begins with PGS 10 from October 14 to 18. PGS 11 follows from October 22 to 25. PGS 12 then runs from October 29 to November 1. The PUBG Global Championship 2026 is set for December 1 to 13.
