Coming in early May, one of the best games of all time will be re-released for modern computers. That’s right, Age of Mythology: Extended Edition will be hitting Steam in only a few short months!
This classic real-time strategy game will not only contain the original expansion pack The Titans, but it will also contain a brand-new campaign, The Golden Fleece. And if that isn’t enough, the Age of Empires website says the game will also feature:
- Pre-Purchase on Steam Early April
- Improved Water and Lighting
- Full Steamworks Integration
- Twitch TV Integration
- Enhanced Observer Mode
- Support for Win 7/8 and HD Monitors
I don’t know if it’s just the nostalgia talking or if it’s because this is one of the best games I have ever played, but I will be counting down the days until Steam releases it. And for anyone who hasn’t gotten a chance to play it yet…. get on that ASAP! Or just feverishly count down the days until May… up to you.
