As reported by GameSpot, Nintendo’s upcoming addition to is Mario Kart series, Mario Kart 8, will include YouTube compatibility and functionality, meaning you will be able to upload recorded gameplay footage directly to YouTube from the Wii U. With this functionality, you’ll be able to upload your best racing clips to a wider audience – all you’ll need to do this is a Google account and a YouTube channel. Additionally, you will also be able to upload your clips to Miiverse.
Both North America and Europe will be receiving respective Mario Kart 8 console bundles. During a Nintendo Direct stream, it was revealed that America’s bundle will include the Wii U Deluxe Set (the black one), a red Wii Remote Pluss and Mario Wii Wheel accessory, and of course a copy of the game itself – all for $329.99. Nintendo UK announced that Europe’s bundles will also include a copy of the game and a Wii U console, but its other two bundles will be Mario and Luigi themed, each with their own respective hats and specially designed Wii Remotes, Wii U GamePad protectors and Wii U Wheels. The first bundle will cost £249.99, and the other two bundles will cost £299.99 each.
The bundle for North America will sell on the same day as Mario Kart 8 launches: Friday, May 30 – in both Europe and North America, possibly followed shorter after by the new Super Smash Bros. title for Wii U and 3DS.
