About two weeks ago, gamers saw the official announcement of Madden 15; like every year, gamers knew it was only a matter of time before a trailer and a release date was announced. But besides basic information, little else is known about the latest edition of Madden; EA Sports has been particularly quiet about the new gameplay mechanics or even the cover athlete. Well finally the selection process for the Madden 15 cover athlete has been decided; like last year, Madden 15 will have people vote for their favorite players in a tournament style bracket. Obviously, the players are previously chosen and you cannot pick hometown favorites (so sorry John Kuhn).

Obviously, this is a four round process with players going head-to-head for your votes: the results of each round will be announced on Thursday ‘s edition of NFL Live at 4 P.M. EDT on ESPN (starting next week). The final two athletes will then go to the special Los Angeles event on June 6: where one will be crowned the Madden 15 cover athlete. If you want to vote now or read the official rules, go to espn.go.com/nfl/feature/maddenvote.
So until June 6, continue to vote if you want your favorite athlete(s) to be selected. Besides this, little else is known about the game; it seems that EA Sports is keeping the new features hidden. Expect to hear more details at this Los Angeles event or 2014s E3. For now, Madden 15 comes out on August 26 for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360.
