It has been revealed in Jump magazine that Square Enix are currently developing a new Final Fantasy title exclusively to the 3DS. Final Fantasy Explorers is a multiplayer action RPG that promotes teams of up to four players to explore the world in order to locate crystals, whilst taking on powerful summons along the way. Whilst not much has been revealed, we do know the game will contain classic jobs/classes seen in previous games such as the Monk, White Mage, Black Mage, and Knight. Each have their strengths and weaknesses, which will need to be learnt if players are to succeed throughout the game.

Also seen is the official logo and the various jobs/classes.Typically, the White Mage will cast healing and protective spells on the party, the Black Mage will cast magic intended to damage enemies, the Knight will be a powerhouse that also holds responsibility for taking damage for the weaker classes, and finally the Monk will be able to deal high damage using his/her bare fists. Unfortunately no details were given on a potential release date or whether the game will make it to other countries besides Japan.
