The tab from Microsoft is a Windows 8.1 Pro while the Asus memo pad 7 is based on the latest Android version. We have seen some superior tabs from both flagships in the past; will Asus memo pad 7 be better than Microsoft Surface Pro 3?

Design & Display
As mentioned already, this tab is one of a kind when it comes to design. This is as sleek as it gets. It weighs only 798 oz, quite light for a tab. It has a screen size of 12” and its pixel density is 216 pixels per inch and it has light sensor technology but no scratch or proximity sensor on its body.
Specifications, Camera & Battery
This tab has a tablet dock too along with its main screen which gives it more of a MAC like appearance – but makes our work easier nonetheless. We get Intel HD Graphics and Intel Core i7 system chip set. This is backed by an 8 GB RAM – couldn’t get any better! But on the lower side, this tab has a 5 mega pixel rear camera which lacks flash but it can still take videos at 1080p. The front camera too is 5 mega pixels. It has an internal 512 GB but user available storage is only 450 GB. The tab lacks GPS which is a downside.
Asus memo pad 7
This tab released in June 2014 and is an Android Kit Kat OS featuring tab. This tab has some widely useful features.
Design & Display
This tab has a unique design of its own. On a more detailed look, Surface Pro 3 has a more professional appeal than this tab. The screen is 7 inches with a 216 pixels per inch density. With light sensor and Oleo phobic coating this tab is one to watch out for.
Specifications, Camera & Battery
This tab has a Quad core processor with a powerful 1 GB RAM. This tab has merely a 16 GB internal storage along with 64 GB expandable memory. We get a 5 mega pixels camera however it lacks flash just like Microsoft’s tab. The battery in this tab is not user replaceable.
Overall
It is really difficult to take a pick among the two. It is because they both have a lower grade camera feature but the Surface Pro 3 provides a better storage feature and design. So we’re leaning towards that end slightly.
