Apple and LG are among the top giants in the mobile industry. The two companies are constantly in production of new devices in order to outdo each other. This requires technological updates in their devices along with new innovations. Apple iPhone 5c and LG G2 are some of the phones by these companies.
Specifications
The Apple phone has a Dual-core 1.3 GHz Swift processor along with a 1 GB RAM. It has an internal memory of 8/16/32 GB with an LCD capacitive touchscreen of 4.0 inches. On the other hand, the LG phone has a Quad-core 2.26 GHz Krait 400 processor with a 2 GB RAM. The internal memory for the phone is either 16 or 32 GB. The phone has an LCD capacitive 5.2 inch touchscreen.
Design
The Apple phone weighs 132g and measures 4.90 x 2.33 x 0.35 inches while the LG phone weighs 143 g with measurements of 5.45 x 2.79 x 0.35 inches. Both phones have a curved design.
Camera Specifications
Apple iPhone 5c has a primary camera with 8 megapixels and a secondary camera with 1.2 megapixels. The phone has an autofocus and an LED flash. It has a video feature with a 1080p@30fps screen resolution. Some of the features the camera has include simultaneous HD image and video recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection among many others.
LG G2’s primary camera has 13 megapixels and a secondary camera having 1.2 megapixels. The phone has a video feature with 1080p@60fps screen resolution, with an optical stabilization along with a stereo’s sound recording. Some of the camera features it has include geo-tagging, autofocus, face detection, and a simultaneous image and video recording.
Battery
The battery for the Apple phone is a non-removable Li-po technology battery with capacity of 1510 mAh. It has a talk time of up to 10 hours with up to 40 hours of music play. LG’s battery is also a Li-po technology battery with a 3000 mAh capacity. It has talk time of up to 16 hours.
Operation System
The Apple phone uses a iOS 7 operating system while LG uses Android v4.2.2 operating system. Both operating systems are upgraded to higher versions.
Apple iPhone 5C prices range between $167.50-$649.00 depending on the features while LG G2 costs $170.00 for 16 GB and $245.00 for 32 GB.
Both phones have excellent features that would change my phone experience but I would go for LG G2 definitely for the cheap price and because most of it’s features are higher than those of Apple iPhone 5C for example the camera, battery, and RAM. Hence LG would be my choice 🙂
