Okay, I know I bag on the PS Vita a lot. It’s just such an easy target that I can’t seem to help myself sometimes. But you know what, I’m ending it here. This trend of negativity towards a struggling console needs to end.

No, no wait! I’m serious this time! I am TOTALLY capable of saying something good about the PS Vita. Let’s see, what notable games are coming out for this… No, no I already covered the Minecraft port… Oh! Wait! I found something on the official Sony blog! It must be a console exclusive, or maybe an “indie” game made for a triple-A budget! Whatever it is, I’m getting ahead of myself, I’m just SO HYPED FOR THE VITA!

99 Bricks Wizard Academy, developed by Weirdbeard games, is a fast-paced and physics-based puzzle game where you, a wizard, must build your very own Wizard’s tower as high as you possibly can. But watch out, because other Wizards are jealous of how much taller your tower stands erect, and will stop at nothing to bring it crashing down. You can upgrade your Wizard to become a better spellcaster, and even compete against your friends!
Wow! That sounds fun! I sure do wish I had a PS Vita so that I could play this fun looking game! You guys are so lucky!

This is an iOS game from 2013, and a Flash game from 2008.
That’s it. I can’t do it. I don’t care if this game looks fun, or if it’s a flash game, or how good the title actually is.
Sony, let me ask you something- is this what the Vita has come to? That a flash game/iOS port to your handheld is big enough news to make your Official Blog?
I’m sorry if I’m offending any Vita users on a regular basis, but I need to say it- to Sony, the owners of this system, and everyone else- the PS Vita has become a portable Ouya with somehow even less games.
That being said, this game does look legitimately fun, so get it whenever you get the chance, Vita or otherwise.
