Bioware is now regularly releasing concept art for Dragon Age: Inquisition, and every time we get a glimpse at a new image, we’re impressed. The sheer variety of landscapes, structures and ambiances is huge. Bioware acknowledged their mistakes with Dragon Age 2, and are not rushing things this time around. They aim to bring new life into the series by providing a vast open world for players to explore, and based on the artwork, that’s what we’re getting. We’ve already covered some great Dragon Age: Inquisition artwork last week, and we’re now bringing you the new batch, accompanied by lore messages from Bioware’s writers.
“Through a breach in the sky, the brave now walk where once we feared to dream.”
“The Old Gods will call to you, from their ancient prisons will they sing.”
“Oh Maker, hear my cry. Guide me through the blackest nights.”
“Seek the light, for the wicked take root in the darkest corners.”
“It wasn’t hidden, it was uncontrolled. Like the power you now command.”
“Foul and corrupt are they who have taken His gift and turned it against His children.”
“In the absence of light, shadows thrive.”
“The graves of our ancestors are littered with the bones of long-forgotten betrayals.”
Dragon Age: Inquisition is aimed at a fall 2014 release, and is being developed for old-gen consoles Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, as well as next-gen consoles Playstation 4 and Xbox One, and the PC. And, in the event that you haven’t been keeping an eye on the project, we’ve added the 2013 E3 teaser trailer, as well as an interview with the devs to give you an idea of what to expect.
