The gaming industry has been hit with a ridiculous amount of leaks within the last week, and gaming giant, Nintendo, is not immune to them. However, rumor is, if Nintendo discovers own of their own employees has been leaking unreleased content…they will find them, and they will kill them. Not really, but they definitely won’t be nice about it.

Super Smash Brothers 4 Gameplay Footage Leaker Found
A screenshot of the leaked gameplay footageYesterday, someone leaked videos containing little snippets of gameplay from Nintendo’s upcoming Super Smash Brothers 4. Well apparently, those videos came from an employee at Nintendo of America.
Rumor has it that Nintendo discovered who the employee was, proceeded to fire them, and is now in the process of suing the person (presumably due to severe violations of copyright/confidentiality clauses).
Some additional far-stretching rumors say that the employee has a Nintendo 3DS that is commonly used for internal ratings, and was part of team that sends certain materials to the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). Also, he or she may still have a copy of Super Smash Brothers 4 in his or her possession.
With such an abundance of leaks in the past few days, from Assassin’s Creed Unity game tester leaks to Super Smash Brothers 4, companies are sure to try harder at keeping their games under wraps. Leaks are not new to the industry, and people will gladly take them because of the law of supply and demand. Gamers want their Shulk, and they want him now.
