Treyarch Studios is obviously making a common trend to provide these double experience points during the first weekend of the month, but Infinity Ward is also joining in this action. Henceforth, Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Ghosts fanatics should embrace their offer, especially Wii-U users who are still checking out Nuketown 2025; this downloadable content (DLC) map was originally a pre-order incentive for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and was made available to all platforms through the Revolution DLC pack in January 2013. Despite two years of waiting, the Wii-U owners can finally obtain this free package by installing the latest update on August 8 to 11 this year, but Die Rise has yet to arrive on the system.
Though the previous event was mostly celebrated toward one console, the developer is quite proud to announce that this occasion is for all platforms: personal computer, PlayStation 3, Wii-U, and XBox 360. Here’s the twitter message.

Yet, time is quickly dwindling. After starting on August 29th at 10 am PST, this three-day opportunity will eventually end on September 2nd at 10 am PST. Meaning, players still have at least a day or two to increase levels through kills and objectives that are completed.
While it’s cool to see some updates, one wonders how long these developers will continue to keep up this support before players start leaving. As a quick reminder, Call of Duty: Ghosts’s fourth and final DLC add on, Nemesis, will arrive for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC after Thursday event on September 4.
