Destiny, Bungie’s new and extremely popular mmo-style shooter, is slated to release on September 9th, and as the release date draws closer so do details about the game. If you haven’t heard, Destiny has a plentiful amount of content that will be exclusive to Playstation until later next year. Today, The PlayStation Blog has announced that the crucible PvP map “Exodus Blue” will be a Playstation exclusive until Fall 2015.
Oh the old Comsodrome.The PlayStation Blog tells us that this new crucible map is designed for infantry matches of three on three, or six on six player matches. On Exodus Blue the Skirmish, Control, Salvage, Clash and Rumble game types are available for play. The map is designed around a colony ship named “Exodus Blue” and is described as a “Colony ship that once served us during the Golden Age.” And here’s a quick tip; according to the video below released by The PlayStation Blog, Point B in the Control game type is a hard point to control, so stay on your toes.

In addition to the map being a timed exclusive, the video also detailed an ample amount of exclusive Guardian gear. Each class has a different set of exclusive armor, all of which are level 20 rare gear sets, with upgrades that are more powerful than any other class of item. In addition to the armor sets are two Playstation Exclusive weapons; a fully automatic rifle known as the “Monte Carlo,” as well as a revolver called “Hawkmoon.” And let me tell you, these weapons look pretty terrifying.
