Looks like PlayStation is getting a little academic recognition in South Korea.
We’ve all known for a while now that, when it comes to Video Games, few countries go as berserk as South Korea. Whether it’s barracks-style training academies for StarCraft II players or the South Korean Prime Minister referencing the Zerg in a speech concerning their Northern adversaries, this half of the plateau is a gamer’s paradise. That being said, the fact that Sangmyung University is hosting a full course on the Playstation consoles shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
In fact, nothing about East Asia surprises me anymore.Make no mistake, however- this class is the real deal. Sangmyung teamed up with Sony themselves to make this course the most comprehensive Playstation education on the planet.
That may not be saying much, however, considering it’s probably the ONLY Playstation college course on the planet.
Still, the class- focusing mainly on the Playstation Vita and Playstation 4- looks pretty sweet, if I do say so myself. The room for the course is covered in posters for upcoming Playstation releases and the desks themselves are shaped like dualshock controllers.
Would you take this class? And more importantly, would you pass it?
