As some of you may remember, Nintendo announced plans to hold a Shiny Beldum event to celebrate the upcoming release of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The dates for the event have been released, and are presumably the same around the world. The date for this event to go on is November 21st, 2014 to January 15th, 2015. This means that you can download the shiny Beldum the day Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire come out, and it also means that fans that intend to put this on their Christmas list or get it for someone else will still have time to download the Beldum.
As mentioned in the previously linked article, this Beldum is not a pre-order exclusive. Nor is it exclusive to players who purchase their Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games at a certain retailers. Anybody who buys a copy of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be able to download the Shiny Beldum until the event ends.
The shiny Beldum holds the Mega Stone that allows it’s final evolution, Metagross, to Mega Evolve. Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are set to be released worldwide on November 21st, 2014.
