Nintendo has revealed the list of new downloadable titles and sales on its North American 3DS, Wii U and, this week exceptionally, DSi eShops for the week of September 25, 2014. This also includes the fourth and final week of the massive Super Smashing Sale, which will end on October 2.
On the 3DS eShop:
- Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL World Dual Carnival ($19.99)
Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL World Dual Carnival is the latest video game entry in the popular card game franchise. Based on the ZEXAL anime, World Dual Carnival features over 40 characters from the show, a Story and Free Dual mode, and over 5800 of the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.
On the Wii U eShop:
- Angry Bunnies: Colossal Carrot Crusade ($8.99)
In this Angry Birds clone, the player must use the combination of skill and logic to save the bunnies from cunning fox. With 150 streamlined levels, difficult physics-based demolition, leaderboards and comical characters with special abilities, carrots will need to be collected in order to prove your worth.
- Darts Up ($2.49)
Considered as the ultimate dart game on Wii U, Darts Up is the perfect 4 player Multiplayer experience as it features Arcade, Classic, Combo and X01 modes. Control is done via the Wii U GamePad’s motion sensor to allow precise and easier movement in order to rank the highest on the online leaderboards.
- Spin the Bottle: Bumpie’s Party (Free Demo)
As you sit around with up to 8 players in your living room, Spin the Bottle will have players complete a set of wacky challenges by spinning a virtual bottle on the Wii U GamePad. With 23 different collaborative mini games, you’ll have to team up with a partner to complete the most challenges in Bumpie’s Party. Don’t worry, there is no kissing involved in this game.
- Hyrule Warriors ($59.99)
Nintendo and Koei Tecmo have partnered up to deliver this The Legend of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors crossover. It features the hack-and-slash gameplay of the highly popular Dynasty Warriors series mixed up with various Zelda characters such as Link, Zelda, Impa, Darunia, Ruto and others. The game will also have two player Co-op with one player using the Wii U GamePad as a screen and the other using a monitor. On the Wii U Virtual Console:
- Mario Golf: Advance Tour ($6.99)
The GBA Mario Golf game is making its way onto the Wii U Virtual Console this week just like you remembered it back in 2004, when it originally launched. Play through the Mushroom Kingdom’s finest golf courses to prove to Mario and the gang that you are the ultimate golfer.
And finally, eShop sales:
To celebrate the release of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, Nintendo is having a Super Smashing Sale where you can save up to 40 percent on games that have made your favorite Smash characters famous throughout the entire month of September.
Week 4, which is the last week of the sale, offers discounts on selected Donkey Kong, Kirby, Pikmin, Pac-Man, Star Fox and Animal Crossing games until October 2nd.
Super Smashing Sale (Week 4):
- Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D (3DS)
The remastering of Donkey Kong Country is now $19.99 instead of $29.99 on the 3DS eShop.
- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Wii U)
The intense Wii U Donkey Kong Country game is now $29.99 instead of $49.99 on the Wii U eShop.
- Donkey Kong (Wii U & 3DS)
Both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the classic Donkey Kong are now $3.49 each instead of $4.99 each on both Virtual Consoles.
- Game & Watch: Donkey Kong Jr. (DS)
The Game & Watch version of the classic Donkey Kong Jr. experience is now $1.49 instead of $1.99 on the DSi eShop.
- Donkey Kong Jr. (Wii U)
Donkey Kong Jr. is now $3.49 instead of $4.99 on the Wii U Virtual Console.
- Kirby’s Dream Land (3DS)
This GameBoy classic is now $2.49 instead of $3.99 on the 3DS Virtual Console.
- Kirby’s Dream Land 2 (3DS)
The sequel to Kirby’s Dream Land is now $2.49 instead of $3.99 on the 3DS Virtual Console.
- Kirby’s Dream Land 3 (Wii U)
The third installment in the Kirby’s Dream Land franchise is now $4.99 instead of $7.99 on the Wii U Virtual Console.
- Kirby and the Amazing Mirror (Wii U)
This title is now $4.99 instead of $6.99 on the Wii U Virtual Console.
- Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures (Wii U & 3DS)
Both versions of 2013’s Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures are now $11.99 each instead of $19.99 each on the Wii U and 3DS eShops.
- Pikmin 3 (Wii U)
The Wii U Pikmin game is now $39.99 instead of $59.99 on the Wii U eShop.
- Star Fox 64 3D (3DS)
The remastering of Star Fox 64 is now $29.99 instead of $39.99 on the 3DS eShop.
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS)
This game is now $19.99 instead of $29.99 on the 3DS eShop.

This title is now 30 percent off until October 12 on the Wii U eShop, making it $8.39 instead of $11.99.
- Armillo (Wii U)
This Action-Puzzle Platformer is now 37 percent off until October 6 on the Wii U eShop, making it $4.99 instead of $7.99.
- Swords and Soldiers (Wii U)
This RTS is now 33 percent off until October 9 on the Wii U eShop, making it $1.99 instead of $2.99.
- Glory of the Generals (3DS)
This Puzzle-Strategy game is now 30 percent off until October 9 on the 3DS eShop, making it $6.99 instead of $9.99.
