Make Your Fonts A Bit More Special
When you think of typing your message, you are usually messaging something meaningful to your loved ones, something that has become a standard in online communication. However, when you are talking to someone special, do you want to use the same old font that you do with everything else? That would just get old and boring. So Skype brings you another option to write in. You can choose to write elegantly with flowing fonts, or you can choose whichever font to spruce up your message.
Skyping is something that people do to want to stay connected. You can’t see them on a regular basis, so you choose to Skype. Instead of using those boring fonts like other instant messaging apps, you can choose to customize your font to give a more personal feel. You can choose to make it grandeur or use tails to style your letters. All you have to do is go to the Tools menu and choose the Options tab. Click on the IM and SMS tab that is located on the left of the side menu, and choose IM appearance. Just tap on the Change Font, and then can choose whichever style that suits you.
Keep Pencil Hidden

If you want to keep the pencil hidden just go to Tools menu, and then choose options, IM and SMS, click on the settings tab for IM, and then Show Advanced Options. People make mistakes, and sometimes you send messages to the wrong Mary, or the wrong Bob. So in order to help you out, go to Contacts and choose the person you want to name change. From there, you will be sent to another window where you see a paper icon and a notepad. You can now choose whichever name you want to come them, that way you won’t end up mixing anyone up.
Typos Are the Worse
When chatting typos are inevitable, and depending on who you are talking to, they can make or break your conversation. Well now, Skype has provided its users with a way to not just inform them of the mistake when talking with family or friends, but with new contacts. Just use your keyboard and tap on the Up arrow at the bottom. The message will open back up in the box, and you instantly make changes and send off again. Who says you can’t have second chances?
Chat In Multiple Windows
When you are far away from love ones, you sometimes strike up many conversations at once. Users are usually disappointed when they can’t view more than one screen. For Skype users, you are more aware of the Shift+Tab to move between chat screens. However, Skype lets you have multiple chat screens when you want to have many more conversation without having to shift back and forth. Just go to the menu choose View, then Compact View, and there you go.
Group Chat
When you want to talk to a lot of friends in a chat, you no longer have to do it with a mobile app. Skype allows users to group chat and group call all in one application. Just pick and choose the contacts and drop them in a chat window, and get the gang altogether.
