Ever since Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End‘s breathtaking E3 reveal trailer, there has not been that much in terms of news or announcements for the next highly anticipated, PlayStation 4 exclusive installment into Naughty Dog’s Uncharted franchise.

Fortunately, developer Naughty Dog has recently released an image of main protagonist, Nathan Drake’s, in-engine character model for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End in promotion of an upcoming 3D character art workshop at the Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, California.

See the Naughty Dog’s image of Nathan Drake and read more details after the break:

During the 3D Character Art Workshop Event this coming Sunday, members of Naughty Dog’s art team will explain their methods behind the creation of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End stunning E3 reveal trailer.

This is not the first time Naughty Dog (or someone affiliated with the studio) has posted an image of Uncharted 4‘s leading man.

Late last month, Kurt Margenau, Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End lead game designer, posted a never-before-seen image, albeit a fairly low-quality one, showcasing Nathan Drake in all his current-gen, PlayStation 4-rendered goodness – which can be seen below:

At this time, it is unknown whether either image is showcasing either the in-game gameplay model or the one used in cutscenes. Only time will tell.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is expected to release sometime next year, and will be, as all previous Uncharted games, a Sony PlayStation (4) exclusive.

What are your thoughts on how Nathan Drake looks this time around? Has the extra processing power of the PlayStation 4 been good to his rugged, good looks? Why or why not?

Also, are you looking forward to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End? Again, why or why not?
