Destiny’s Vault of Glass Final Boss Defeated in 17 Seconds

by GH Staff
Destiny Raid Vault of Glass Final Boss Atheon

If you’ve played Destiny’s Vault of Glass raid then you know that it is no easy feat, especially on the hard difficulty. The Vault’s final boss, Atheon, is debatably the most difficult enemy in the game, and requires an immense amount of patience and teamwork to overcome; well, at least for most it does.

The YouTube user Bludrunk and other members of a clan known as the Legendary Crew, have accomplished this lengthy feat in a record-shattering 17 seconds without glitches or exploits. Of course, the time of 17 seconds is excluding the amount of time it took for the team to complete the initial phase of going back/forward in time, rendering the boss vulnerable.

The 6-man crew that was responsible for this incredible kill was made up of 3 Gunslinger Hunters and 3 Sunsinger Warlocks, of which 5 were level 30 and 1 was level 29. Most of them used the Gjallarhorn exotic rocket launcher, which pretty much did the trick.

This is one of the fastest, if not the fastest, Atheon takedowns seen yet. And that includes those who have used this exploit which allows players to defeat Atheon in under 2 minutes, which is being patched.

Bungie has assured us that this is one of the most difficult missions in the game, so they’d better step up their game in the upcoming raids and dlc missions.
