PS4’s coming to China. Also, before we continue… Called it.
Ego stroking aside, China had recently lifted its legal ban on imported game consoles when the XBOX One made an official debut there. It would only make sense for the PS4 to go a-drilling for gold after Microsoft first tapped the market.
The PS4 China release was revealed during the 2014 Sony Expo held in Shanghai, and recent polls seems to show that the Chinese are more interested in buying a PS4 than an XBOX One. Funny how even in a country where a wide choice of gaming consoles isn’t usually an option, people would STILL rather skip on the XBOX One.
In other news, I have yet to find any documents concerning a Wii U release in China anytime soon, though I wouldn’t doubt that Nintendo would benefit greatly from a relatively new market of over 1.3 billion people.
