Skywind, a non-commercial, fan-made modification for the PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, has received a new content update – version 0.9.5.
For those unfamiliar with Skyrim‘s ambitious Skywind PC mod, it is a non-commercial, fan-made modification for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that seeks to merge the amazing world of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind with the enhanced graphics and capabilities of Skyrim‘s engine.
According to Skywind‘s main developer, 0.9.5 is the largest update to the ambitious Skyrim mod to date, but was quick to state that its existence does not mean that Skywind will be available for public release anytime soon. In regards to the Skyrim mod’s progress, the developers stated the following:
“The latest developer release has finally hit! Take an inside look at the newest content for Skywind (Version 0.9.5). This version is NOT available for public release, and does NOT mean it is close to a release. This is our largest update yet, and we are very happy with the work that has been put in. Progress is being made as usual, but there is much to be done.”
