Dun-dun-da-lah! For the seventh entry, Gamer Headlines is recognizing Aldorlea Games and Laxius Force; released in 2008, this classic role-playing game continues the fantasy story of Random Pendragon and his girlfriend Sarah Brandolinoa who find themselves engulfed in a war against the Order, a dangerous organization wishing to take control over the world. As the players face these power adversaries during the turn-base battles along the epic journey, they’ll feel a bit nostalgic as the gameplay atmosphere feels quite like a blend of Dragon Quest and the older Final Fantasy series, offering a retro experience for the personal computer users who want to relive their old-school fantasies.

Besides the general introduction, someone has written this thank you message to the developer:
“I really love the franchise for Laxius and its spinoffs! For one, it contains a great retro rpg, good storyline, fun characters and a huge world! While I did put in over 100 hours of game time, you don’t have to run to hell and back every time to complete a quest, but there are so many dungeons, battles, weapons and spells. Besides the neat content I’m wishing that one day the developer will want to have a remake for this collection and improve the graphics. If not, that’s okay because I own this game and enjoy it immensely! ”
