by GH Staff

Tinder was established in the year 2012. This relatively new company launched its dating mobile application and it managed to attract a huge portion of smartphone users. Tinder is a free application and it allows people to develop connections with the singles living in a specific area. The company has remained successful to earn millions of dollars within the past two years. Now the company is going to improve its services in order to attract more users.

The company is not only looking to improve its current services, but It is also eyeing on the expansion of the business. The CEO and co-founder of Tinder, Sean Rad has announced that Tinder is going to launch its premium service during the current month. He added that the quality of the free mobile application will be improved, enabling users to gain access to more match-making possibilities. He also said that the improved version of the service will result in more connections with the singles not only in one particular area, but also in other parts of the region.

Rad has not revealed the details about the specific additions to the service. But he gave a hint that the premium service will focus on travelling. It will allow the Tinder users to enjoy travelling in different parts of the country with a reliable guidance. It suggests that Tinder is not just focused on dating facilities, but it is looking to attract other users as well.

Originally, Tinder was an area based service. It allowed to communicate with the singles in a particular area. You could not communicate with the singles who are outside of your geographical area and in this way the application seemed to be limited. Tinder is going to eliminate the area based restriction so that the users are able to find their possible match outside of their own area or locality.

Sean Rad clarified that most of the new features will not be available with the free download version of the application. This is something tricky. On one hand, tinder is going to target more users by eliminating the restrictions in the use of the application, and on the other hand it is restricting the free download version. Well, we will have to wait and see to know if this policy works for the company.

Sean Rad seemed to be reluctant about the discussion regarding the number of users. But he could not resist it for long and told that 1.2 billion Tinder users login to their profiles each day. He further added that on a per day average, more than 15 million users find their potential matches.

The prime objective of the company is to increase the number of the users of its application. The company is looking for more revenue to invest in the improvement of the services by setting high standards. According to Sean Rad, they expect an earning of $25 million in the year 2015. Until now, it seems a quite realistic idea and we will know the truth by the end of 2015.
