With Sony celebrating the 20th anniversary of the first PlayStation’s release in Japan next month, the company has now released a brand-new video on YouTube to mark the occasion.

The video reminisces in the nostalgia from Sony’s renowned home consoles (PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4) and portable systems (PSP, PSP Go and PlayStation Vita), while also featuring games that have appeared on the company’s consoles, including Resident Evil 5, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Shadow of the Colossus.

It’s not the first time that Sony has released a video remembering the vivid history they have in the gaming industry, as the company released “For The Players Since 1995,” which was inspired by the #PlayStationMemories trend on Twitter, leading up to the launch of the PlayStation 4 last year.

Last month, UK-based technology magazine T3 inducted Sony’s PlayStation 1 into the ‘T3 Hall of Fame’ during the T3 Gadget Awards 2014, with Sony’s current-generation console, the PlayStation 4, also scooping the ‘Gadget of the Year’ and the ‘Gaming Award.’
