Klei Entertainment has announced the release date for their multiplayer expansion to Don’t Starve.
The expansion, titled Don’t Starve Together, will be released through Steam Early Access on December 15th. The expansion will be part of the Frontier Pack, which will have two price points.
For those who do not own Don’t Starve, the Frontier Pack will be priced at $19.99 and will include two copies of Don’t Starve Together and a copy of Don’t Starve on Steam. The Frontier Pack will also be priced at $4.99, for those who already own Don’t Starve.
Klei Entertainment has also released a trailer for Don’t Starve Together (posted below) that showcases some of the games features.
Originally released last year for PC and earlier this year for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, Don’t Starve puts players in the role of a scientist named Wilson who must survive the harsh nature of a dark world by utilizing the various objects in his environment.
As mentioned earlier, Don’t Starve Together will be released via Steam Early Access on December 15th for $19.99 or $4.99 for those who own the game.
