Publisher Capcom has announced that DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition will be heading to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2015.
Based on developer Ninja Theory’s 2013 title, DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition has been priced at $39.99 (€39.99 & £39.99) and will be available digitally to download or a physical copy can be purchased from stores in North America and Europe.
The Definitive Edition includes all previous DLC expansion packs released for DmC: Devil May Cry and features new modes, including Vergil’s Bloody Palace Mode — a mode that allows players to control Dante’s twin brother, Vergil, over the course of 60 action-packed levels.

According to Capcom’s press release, the Definitive Edition will be running at 1080p and 60fps on both PS4 and Xbox One, while Ninja Theory has confirmed that leaderboards, social features, trophies and achievements have been integrated in the upcoming title.
Coinciding with the announcement of DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition is the news that Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition is also set for release on PS4 and Xbox One. Capcom, however, did not reveal any further details (or a release date) for Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition.
DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition will launch first for Microsoft’s Xbox One on March 17th, 2015 in Europe and North America, while Sony’s PS4 is set to receive the title in the summer of that year.
