The holiday season has arrived in World of Warcraft! The Feast of Winter Veil has started and will be celebrated from today all the way until January 2nd. Feast of Winter Veil is essentially a celebration of the holiday season within the game. You can find all of the new NPC’s and content in Orgrimmar if you’re a Horde character, and Ironforge if you’re an Alliance character.

‘The term “Winter Veil” is said to stem from a supernatural being referred in many cultures to as Greatfather Winter. As he would walk the land late in the seasons, winter itself would be his billowing cloak.’

The Feast of Winter Veil gives players much to do, including two quest lines to partake it, new companions and toys to collect and new cooking recipes to use. On the 25th of December you can open a present from under the tree and get a gift from Great Father Winter himself! Other content added includes, revelers, winter hats, gift giving, elf costumes and all of the Winter Veil achievements. Smokywood Pastures vendors are also added to the game, they will sell you different items including seasonal food.
