The month of March looks to be the best time to pick Nintendo’s 3D portable system up. Nintendo announced on Tuesday that if you register your 3DS between March 1 and March 31, you will be entitled to a free game download. This deal goes for both the 3DS, 3DS XL, or Nintendo 2DS systems. Also, if you’ve had your console for a while, and have never registered it, there is no time like the present (well, actually, the future, since you’ll have to wait until the 1st of March). You will need one of six games to register, as well, for this offer to qualify.
Nintendo is offering Pokemon X or Pokemon Y for a free download. These two are the best-selling Nintendo 3DS games of 2013. They are the most updated Pokemon titles and they offer a “visually spectacular” experience, along with all new Pokemon and Mega Evolutions. Not to mention, there is a slew of new features that any Pokemon fan will find pertinent. Players can download one or the other, not both titles. If you have ever wanted to break into the Pokemon craze, this is the perfect opportunity. Players must purchase one of these six other titles. These titles are Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins, or the upcoming, unreleased Yoshi’s New Island. Your choice of game must be redeemed by May 31, 2014, otherwise it is all for nothing.
