Moto G is one of the best Android smartphones manufactured by Motorola which happens to have been improved. So what’s up with this new device? Is it really exceptional?
So many phones have been released here and there by different manufacturers but there’s one or two only that would normally make it as a hit in the market. Motorola has its Moto G which according to some sources has the first few orders have been shipped already to China and India. The company has successfully improved all aspects of its most sold smartphone and still keeps its price affordable at $200 which means great for those who have fallen in love with last version and wants to get their hands on this new one.
Moto G: Design Pattern and Display
Nothing was changed in the new Moto phone, just followed the same pattern that its predecessor had but there are some key improvements. Just to point out a few, the new device is thinner now and it comes in 5-inches display for 720 HD. Also, the phone is heavier than the older version with a little different feel when held but it’s still comfortable to use though. The manufacturer decided not to increase screen resolution and in the process sacrificed the density but other than this, there’s still more to like about the new phone. The sharpness is kept good and viewing angles are too given that the display is IPS LCD.
Storage and Operating System
It’s in the storage where a significant improvement was made for Moto G because the newer version already comes with 8/16 GB of internal memory. There’s also a Micro SD slot made available for the phone to get maximum of 32 GB additional memory. The new version still has its power from Snapdragon 400 processor though and it running on the latest Android version, 4.4 KitKat. Once the new operating system Android L is made available, this phone is capable to getting upgraded to it too.
Of course, it helps to know of the lows of a product too before choosing whether or not to buy it. There are No enhancement done on the battery section of Moto G so with more power and increase size of screen, it’s likely that the battery would have so much work on its hands. Lastly, users cannot really rely on Moto G for durability. Overall though, the buyout of this phone is that its price stayed the same even with the improvements on some of its features. It can be yours for only $179.
