Whilst arguably all the hype is for The Witcher 3, CD Projekt RED has announced a digital board game titled The Witcher Adventure. A closed beta is to shortly begin according to Projekt RED, which will be available on Mac, iOS, Android, and Windows PC. In the game, players are able to choose from known characters from the series, including Geralt of Rivia himself, Yarpen Zigrin, Dandelion, and Triss Merigold. Much like the games, each will have their own unique traits, promoting diverse and open-ended gameplay. A physical version was announced earlier in the year, but for those who want to save the time actually setting up a board game, this version would be much more convenient.
The physical version of The Witcher Adventure Game, which will be bundled into a nice neat digital package, meaning you won’t lose one of the pieces behind the couch.
Players are able to complete quests, defeat enemies, obtain gold, speak with other characters, much like you would in the series. The ultimate goal, like most board games, is to win or in this case; emerge victorious at the end of it all.
