20 Hour Battlefield 4 Trial Coming To PlayStation Plus Soon

by GH Staff

Community manager of DICE, Vincent Vukovic, has revealed information regarding the opportunity to get hands on with the company’s most recently released title; Battlefield 4. The promotion is part of the PlayStation Plus subscription, and will allow users to gain access to the game’s core multiplayer features, essentially meaning you won’t be able to play any of the current DLC, which is understandable. The 20 hours will start ticking down only once users have booted up the game.

The offer is only available on PS3 with no mention of the trial taking place on PS4 – the download will begin May 27 (tomorrow) on the PlayStation store, users simply have to search for the game, download, and begin taking part at their own leisure. Much like previous Battlefield installments, Battlefield 4 features the usual environmental destruction – however, it’s at a much large scale this time around, allowing players to destroy entire buildings such as skyscrapers.

Returning multiplayer modes such as Conquest and Rush make a return as well as new gametypes including Obliteration and Domination. And as always, vehicle combat is something players are encouraged to take part, whether it’s raining down terror from a helicopter or strolling through the map in a tank taking out anything that happens to get in the way.
