HTC One Max vs LG G Flex: Which One Is the Ideal Choice?

In the past few years, it looks like the phone manufacturers have embraced the motto of releasing updated versions of their successful flagship devices and in the category of phablets, there’s the HTC One Max and the LG’s leading G Flex. These two handsets have the same metallic design, a huge 5.9-inch display with resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and a 4MP Ultra Pixel camera. Let us compare these two and find out which one is the perfect choice for consumers.

Software Specs

An enhanced Sense UI version is what HTC One Max has to offer to its user which is referred to as the Sense 5.5. This runs on the Android 4.3 OS with the interface elements and graphics combined so as to provide its user with simple yet sophisticated overlay. While the UI is popular for its being consistent, it doesn’t have any bearing on the phablet’s performance in any way.

The LG G Flex on the other hand has a different thing to say as far as its software specs are concerned. It has made a substantial leap with its customized operating system experience with the phone running on Android version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The features are the same with its ancestor though but the on-screen presentation is bright and rich. Among the newest apps offered by the LG G Flex device are Q Theatre, Dual Window, Swing Lock screen and Urgent Call Alert.

Processor and Memory

HTC One Max vs LG G Flex: Which One Is the Ideal Choice? The processor of the HTC One Max is Snapdragon 600 S0C with quad core Krait 300 and it is clocked at a speed of 1.GHZ. Also, it uses Adreno 300 graphic processor powers with the GPU and CPU combined and is partnered with 2GB of RAM. On the memory part, this phablet comes with two variants; 16GB and 32GB of built in memory which can be extended up to 64GB using a micro SD card.

As far as LG G Flex is concerned, its CPU is Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC and a speed of 2.26GHz. What powers this handset is its Adreno 330 graphic processor together with the help of DDR3 RAM of 2GB. The internal memory of this phablet is 32GB but unlike other devices of its kind, the G Flex doesn’t have a Micro SD slot to expand its memory.

Based on the specifications above, where are you leaning towards if you had to decide which is the better choice between the HTC One Max and LG G Flex devices? The decision can pretty tough especially that the two companies have exerted a lot of effort to come up with these flagship phablets so if you’re still not sure what to choose between the two, you might as well try to get to know each one of them better. Try to take a look at their cameras, resolution, prices, etc.
