EA has released the SimCity BuildIt Infographic

According to the SimCity BuildIt Infographic players have logged more than 8,300 years of gameplay

It may have only been three weeks since EA’s Helsinki studio released SimCity BuildIt for the iOS but the game has already been downloaded more than 15,500,000 times according to EAs recent SimCity BuildIt Infographic.

15,500,000 downloads in three weeks means that that’s 725,000 new majors a day at 300,000 every hour and 500 new majors a minute. Due to this amount of downloads SimCity BuildIt has entered the Top 5 iOS games downloaded in over 100 countries. In total players have logged in for a combined 648,502,532 individual gameplay seasons adding up to mean that players have managed to log up 8,300 years worth of gameplay in just three weeks. To compare the first city founded on Earth was founded 6,000 years ago.

These cities are pretty packed too because in only three weeks the game has seen over 183 sims have moved into cities around the world, and with the world’s population currently resting at 7.125 billion, that means that these cities are holding a combined population that’s 26 times the population of Earth. Despite being packed the cities in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong are the best cities to live in.

The SimCity BuildIt Infographic also revealed that going green is currently the most popular way to build cities as 29 million wind & solar power plants were built compared to just 15 million coal and oil power plants. Finally in total the majors of SimCity BuildIt have earned a total of 19,952,234,204,841 simoleons. That more than even the USA National Debt which is $18,102,950,606,084.

From EA recently released SimCity BuildIt Infographic I think its pretty obvious to say that the game had a very successful launch.
