by GH Staff

Lollipop Replaces KitKat

Android Lollipop is not something new. Google revealed back in July at the I/O Developers Conference, that they commissioned Giovanni Calabrese to design the Android giant sculptures that located at the Mountain View, California Google headquarters. Based on reports from BGR, Google had Calabrese work on a new project that involves sculpting a new Android project, and he dropped some hints that pointed to the new sugary Android name. He said in a recent post on Google+ that he didn’t much like Licorice (the thought of name), but he thinks it tastes good.

While many believed that Android L would be named Android Licorice, it is revealed that it will be named Lollipop.

He also revealed that he already done with his Google project, and thought the name for the next Android would be Licorice. (He was wrong!)
