Kingdom Hearts 3 has been showing a lot, but Square Enix recently gave their fans a nice opportunity to get involved with the development of the next game. The Kingdom Hearts Facebook page recently sent out a survey for the fans of the series to take, with the preemptive remark, “be as honest as possible”. Interestingly, the survey involves quite a few questions related to pre-order bonuses. It covers both Kingdom Hearts 3 and other Square Enix titles available for pre-order. Surprisingly, it also gives the fans multiple choices of what they’d like to see paired with their pre-order of Kingdom Hearts 3. This includes items like posters, stickers, art books, and even a manga for the Collector’s Edition.
There are 40 questions in total, some multiple choice, some opinionated, but there’s no doubt Square Enix will use this information to shape their next game, as they’ve said that was the intention of their survey. This is even a good chance for fans to help with determining the platforms the game will be on, as a section in the questionnaire covers that also. Those wanting for Kingdom Hearts 3 on the Wii U might actually get it for that platform.
The survey will be available to take until March 14 11:59pm PST. Take some time to fill out the survey if you want a voice in the game.
Unfortunately, no release date is yet given for Kingdom Hearts 3, but it’s good to see Square Enix taking the initiative early on. Fans will hopefully now have a large enough voice to change something about the project that would have otherwise been disappointing come release. The game is not likely to be released this year, but fingers crossed as we wait for more information to emerge in the coming months.
