World of Warcraft: The Last Titan will return players to Northrend for the final chapter of the Worldsoul Saga. Blizzard says it will share more about the expansion early next year, after the events of World of Warcraft: Midnight’s Eclipse update.

Midnight: Eclipse sets up The Last Titan
Blizzard describes Eclipse as the next major content update for World of Warcraft: Midnight. Xal’atath is close to her objective of claiming the Worldsoul, and players will confront her directly as Azeroth’s fate hangs in the balance. Blizzard says they must stop her before she can claim victory.
The events unfold in the worldcore. Blizzard says the resulting revelation and conflict will carry the Worldsoul Saga toward its final chapter in The Last Titan. That makes Eclipse the immediate story bridge between Midnight and the next expansion.

The Last Titan returns to Northrend
Blizzard calls The Last Titan more than a return to Northrend. Its description looks back over generations of courage and sacrifice across Azeroth as the Worldsoul Saga approaches its ending.
The announcement names the Shifting Sands of Ahn’Qiraj, the Frozen Throne, the Worldbreaker, the Burning Legion, and realms beyond life and death. Those references frame the history behind the finale. The page does not say that every named place, conflict, or figure will become a destination, encounter, or gameplay feature in The Last Titan.
Northrend itself is the confirmed destination. Blizzard has not yet used the BlizzCon page to explain how the expansion will revisit the continent or how the historical references will connect to its campaign.
