Rocket League Season 24 takes the game underground, where speed, style, and a clean win are all that matter. The new season launches September 23 at 9 AM PT, headlined by a new 1v1 challenge feature called Honor Duel and a Persona 5 crossover event.
Honor Duel Lets You Challenge Anyone
Honor Duel lets you challenge another player from your match to a 1v1. If they accept, when the current match finishes, you both drop straight into a duel of the same mode, while other players can spectate the action.
Quality-of-Life Upgrades and Ranked Rewards
Season 24 also adds several quality-of-life upgrades. The Black Market Trade-In lets you trade three duplicate Black Market items for one back, either a wholly new item or a painted version you have yet to collect. The MVP Focused Podium now highlights the match MVP, playing their goal explosion in the open net behind the team. A Custom Scoreboard lets you pick the four stats next to the score, with 4 unique trackable stats per mode. Updated keyboard and mouse controls add a new Free Look Camera, modernized key bindings, and extra settings, and these will be the default for new mouse and keyboard players. Finishing in the Top 100 in any Soccar Ranked Leaderboard (3v3, 2v2, and 1v1) now awards one of 5 exclusive Titles based on placement.
Persona 5 Crossover and Limited Time Events
Season 24 runs three Limited Time Events, two starting day one. Run it Up runs September 23 to December 9, with 14 Challenges rewarding Nova Collection Drops and stat-tracking Titles. Bullet Ball runs September 23 to October 6, a last-car-standing arena battle with a homing ball that demolishes its target unless you Attack, Freeze, or Grab. The Persona 5 LTE runs September 25 to October 12, bringing Challenge Rewards like The Trickstar (P5R) Wheels, Morgana’s Token Boost and Trail, and the Phantom Thieves of Hearts Universal Decal, plus a Mona Car Bundle in the Shop.
Rocket Pass, Rocket Rivalry, and Community Spotlight
The Season 24 Rocket Pass headlines three new Car Bodies: the Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 50 (Octane hitbox), the Dominus GT 76 (Dominus hitbox), and the Pareto 5S (Breakout hitbox), plus new Wheels, Boosts, and Decals. Rocket Rivalry returns with eight creators, headlined by JZR and ApparentlyJack, who compete toward a showmatch in London as players back their favorites. In the Community Spotlight, RLCS caster herculyse is immortalized with the Professional Yapper Player Title, free in the Shop until September 30.
