Xbox has announced a new Free Play Days lineup running Thursday, September 24 through Sunday, September 27, 2026. Four games are free to try across the weekend, with two titles available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members and two more open to all Xbox members with no Game Pass membership required.
Xbox Wire shared the lineup details on September 24, 2026. The event continues Xbox’s recurring Free Play Days program, which includes a recent Free Play Days lineup and an earlier Free Play Days roundup.
Game Pass Titles for Console and PC
The Escapists 2 and Young Suns are available this weekend for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members. Young Suns is available on console and PC.
The Escapists 2, published by Team17 Digital, is a co-op prison escape game where players bust out of prisons, team up with friends, and craft escape tools from everyday items. Young Suns is a multiplayer narrative life sim set on Jupiter after a successful revolution against predatory corporations. Players explore moonlets, converted stations, and derelict ruins in a spaceship with up to three friends or solo, decorate the ship, and build relationships with a cast of characters.
Free for All Xbox Members
PGA TOUR 2K25 and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 are open to all Xbox members during the event. Players can buy the games at a limited time discount and keep their Gamerscore and achievements earned during the event.
PGA TOUR 2K25 Standard Edition is free during the event. It features Ranked Tours at the Championship at Del Cerro and themed Ranked Rewards for MyPLAYER. A featured quest called The Captain’s Call asks players to hit 5 fairways in regulation, record 5 birdies in a single round, and make 3 putts from 10 feet or more to earn 250 VC, 3 Fittings, a level-up token, 600 MyPLAYER XP, and a Silver Leather Watch cosmetic.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is a tactical open world third-person shooter about defending and rebuilding Washington, D.C. after a devastating pandemic. The Standard Edition is discounted by up to 90 percent for a limited time. The Division 2 and PGA TOUR 2K25 are Optimized for Xbox Series X|S.
