Minecraft LIVE returns on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 1 PM ET. The official Minecraft.net live page lists the event as the next Minecraft LIVE, and an Xbox Wire announcement published on September 24, 2026 confirmed the date for this weekend’s broadcast.
The previous event, Minecraft LIVE Summer 2026, was held virtually on May 30, 2026 at 12 PM ET. Minecraft LIVE now happens multiple times a year, with Mojang hosting two presentations annually to cover new features and updates for vanilla Minecraft. The September event is the second Minecraft LIVE of 2026.
Each Minecraft LIVE lasts between thirty minutes and one hour, depending on how many updates the studio has to share. Mojang describes the show as packed with news about its games, content creators, and more.
Mojang ships several game drops each year, its name for the smaller, more frequent content releases it now delivers to vanilla Minecraft. The two annual shows cover the new features arriving in vanilla Minecraft across those game drops.
Minecraft Dungeons II received its first official gameplay trailer earlier this year.
What the September 26 broadcast will include
The official event page banner carries the tagline, “Tune into Minecraft LIVE for the scoop on game drops, behind-the-scenes secrets, awesome guests, and more exciting stuff to come.” Mojang has not yet named which game drops will appear at the show.

The September 26 show starts at 1 PM ET, one hour later than the May 30 summer event. Viewers can watch live on the official Minecraft YouTube channel or through minecraft.net/live, the event hub.
