Xbox Wire has published its weekly Next Week on Xbox feature covering new games coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, and Game Pass from September 28 to October 2. The weekly feature rounds up titles across those platforms. The listed release dates are subject to change.
This week’s lineup includes first-party releases, remasters, and new entries from publishers such as THQ Nordic, Paradox Interactive, Nacon, and Epic Games Publishing.
First-Party Releases Headline the Week
Minecraft Dungeons II launches September 28 on Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere. The sequel trades the pickaxe for a sword as players stop a new evil causing chaos in two worlds.
Gears of War: E-Day Premium Edition arrives October 1 with Xbox Play Anywhere support. It is an origin story set fourteen years before the original Gears of War, starring Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago as the Locust Horde first erupts. The Premium Edition includes the Horde Siege PvE mode and Versus PvP, built in Unreal Engine 5.
Remasters Bring Classic Campaigns and Expansions
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered launches September 29 with Xbox Play Anywhere support. It is a free upgrade for all owners of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, with improvements to visuals, gameplay, and character progression, and it includes the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions.
Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered launches October 1 from Koei Tecmo, featuring a cast of more than 40 officers and battlefields recreated in Unreal Engine 5.
Flight, Hunting, Racing, and More Round Out the Slate
Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve launches October 2. Early Access begins September 28 for those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition.
Gothic II Complete Classic and Way of the Hunter 2 both launch September 28 from THQ Nordic. Transport Fever 3 launches September 28 from Paradox Interactive.
MXGP 26 – The Official Game launches October 1 from Nacon, racing on all 19 official tracks of the season in the MXGP and MX2 categories. End of Abyss launches October 1 from Epic Games Publishing.
