NetEase has confirmed that Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 starts October 9, 2026 at 09:00 UTC after an estimated two-hour maintenance window. The update adds the Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Infinity War mode, new lore stories, limited store bundles, a free Thor costume, Twitch Drops, and a wave of hero balance adjustments.
New Mode, Events, and Store Bundles
Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Infinity War is an MCU-inspired mode for 12 players in 6 duo squads. Each round, two squads face off head-to-head to battle for control over the Infinity Stones. The first squad to collect all 6 Infinity Stones wins. The mode runs from October 9, 2026 09:00 UTC to December 11, 2026 09:00 UTC.
The season event Infinity Finale runs from October 9 to December 10, 2026. Completing quests earns Thor’s The Avengers costume for free. Additional rewards include Avengers: Infinity War-inspired costumes and bundle content for Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and more. New lore stories are Thor “Spirit of Thunder” and Spider-Man “The Worthy Spider-Man”.
Store bundles include Devil Dinosaur “Skele-Saurus” and Blade “Vampire King”, limited from October 9 to November 6, 2026 02:00 UTC. Cyclops “Phoenix Cyclops” Bundle and an Infinity Gauntlet accessory are available from October 9. In Times Square, an Avengers: Infinity War highlights screening lets players watch continuously for two minutes to unlock the Gallery Card “Avengers: Infinity War”. Photo-op walls grant the Spray “Avengers Emblem” and 100 Units from October 9 to October 22, 2026.
Rank Reward, Twitch Drops, and Hero Balance
The Alchemax Headquarters map has been added to the 18 VS.18 mode. Season 10.5 Gold-tier rank reward costume is Jeff the Land Shark “Razor-Tooth”. Twitch Drops return with the Angela “Will of Galacta” costume and related bundle content from October 9 12:00 UTC to November 6 09:00 UTC. Water traversal emotes can now be used in other stages as stationary non-moving emotes outside water.
Hero fixes optimize Winter Soldier’s Trooper’s Fist and Bionic Hook action response under high-latency. Gorr the God Butcher, who joined the roster in Season 10, gains a Custom Targeting Sensitivity setting for his Shadow Harvest ability.
Balance highlights include Devil Dinosaur base health reduced from 850 to 825. Iron Man’s Micro-Missile Barrage missiles now automatically track nearby enemies, with single-shot damage reduced from 20 to 10 and a max of 5 locked on a single target. Phoenix Cosmic Flames single-shot damage increased from 60 to 65. Gorr Shadow Scythe damage reduced from 55 +2% target max health to 50 +2%. Scarlet Witch Chthonian Burst spell field damage reduced from 40 to 35. The update follows the October 1 patch, which added Lunar Luna and Cosmic Spark skins.
