Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will launch on Windows 11 PCs on November 18, 2026, with Xbox Play Anywhere support. The game is a turn-based RPG set in the Monster Hunter world and is currently available on Xbox Series X|S. Capcom announced the date on October 7, 2026.
Cross-platform progression and RPG setup
Xbox Play Anywhere lets players enjoy the game on Xbox Series X|S, Windows 11 PCs, and compatible handheld gaming devices at no additional cost. Save data, additional game content, achievements, and related progress carry over between supported devices.
The story follows the prince or princess of Azuria, the only Rathalos Rider in the country, and Eleanor, the princess of Vermeil. They each set out for the forbidden ground to uncover the truth of the world. Capcom previously detailed the game’s character design in a dedicated video.
Combat uses evolving turn-based battles, while Habitat Restoration allows players to release monsters back into the wild and change their Ecosystem rank.
Post-game fights and anniversary trials
After updating to the latest version and loading cleared save data, players can face a high-difficulty version of the final boss. Beating it makes Royal versions of nearly all monsters appear, along with Royal Invasive Monsters and Royal Calamitous Elder Dragons.
The DLC Side Story: Rudy is available now and is included at no additional cost in the Deluxe Edition, Premium Deluxe Edition, and Deluxe Kit.
Capcom marked the Monster Hunter Stories series’ 10th anniversary on October 8 with a special commemorative visual. The series has three titles to date: Monster Hunter Stories, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, and Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. Its RPGs let players become a Rider, forge bonds with monsters, and live alongside them.
From Thursday, October 22 to Sunday, October 25, 2026, Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will be playable with a three-hour timed trial, with no Xbox Game Pass membership required. Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection also offers a free trial version that lets players carry progress over to the full game, and the official website features a Monster Hunter Stories series Music Selection video.
