Behaviour Interactive has released The Diablo Collection in Dead by Daylight, as announced in a Steam news post published on 23 October 2026. The post frames the crossover around 30 years of Diablo horror and uses the titles Mother of Sanctuary, Lord of Hatred, and Lord of Lies for Lilith, Mephisto, and Belial, describing them as Sanctuary’s most iconic heroes and villains.

The collection contains six cosmetic outfits. Lilith is a Visceral Outfit for The Artist, the only killer in the set to receive that tier. Mephisto is an Ascended Outfit for The Nurse and Belial is an Ascended Outfit for The Dredge. On the survivor side, David King receives The Barbarian’s Plight, Zarina Kassir receives The Sorcerer’s Perspective, and Taurie Cain receives The Necromancer’s Duty, all three labelled Very Rare.

Dead by Daylight has repeatedly turned outside horror properties into killers, including another licensed crossover that made Jason Voorhees a killer. The Diablo Collection splits six characters across both sides of the match.

Villains Become Killers, Heroes Become Survivors

Behaviour placed Lilith, Mephisto, and Belial into killer roles, assigning them to The Artist, The Nurse, and The Dredge respectively. The three heroes are placed into survivor slots as David King, Zarina Kassir, and Taurie Cain. Dead by Daylight’s one-versus-four structure puts a single killer against four survivors who must repair generators and escape, so the Diablo demons land on the killer side and the human heroes on the survivor side.

The Artist already uses crows and ink, which can read as a corrupted presence without changing her ability. The Nurse’s blink and screech fit a lord of hatred. The Dredge’s body of hidden parts and shadow fits a lord of lies. These are still The Artist, The Nurse, and The Dredge in mechanical terms. The collection only changes how they look and sound.

On the survivor side, David King, Zarina Kassir, and Taurie Cain dress as Diablo classes without gaining combat abilities. The Barbarian, Sorcerer, and Necromancer names describe outfits only, and the three keep the same run, hide, and repair loop as every other survivor.

Returning Voice Actors

Behaviour Interactive named Caroline Faber, Steve Blum, and Ray Porter as the voices of Lilith, Mephisto, and Belial in Dead by Daylight. The three return to voice the Diablo characters, so the outfits carry those actors’ performances instead of The Artist’s, The Nurse’s, or The Dredge’s default audio.

Behaviour did not disclose whether the actors recorded new lines specifically for The Fog or whether existing audio was repurposed.

Confirmed Versus Undisclosed

The Steam post announces six outfits and three returning voice actors, with no new killer power, perks, map, or mechanical changes. The survivor outfits for David King, Zarina Kassir, and Taurie Cain are described only as Very Rare cosmetics, and no new items, add-ons, or loadout changes are named.

Several details remain undisclosed. The post omits a price in Auric Cells or real money, any statement from Blizzard, confirmation of reciprocal Diablo IV content, and a platform list beyond the news appearing on Steam. The Diablo series has continued to expand outside its main games, including an officially licensed board game, but this Steam post is silent on any parallel promotion from Blizzard.
