Enshrouded’s November 3 hotfix, version 1.0.1.1, addresses two audio problems: voice-over playing too quietly and gathering sounds being heard by everyone in a session. Keen Games also lists crash and performance fixes, including a PlayStation 5 crash while searching for dedicated servers.

The official changelog identifies the version as 1285601. The hotfix corrects a quiet voice-over issue introduced in patch 1.0.1.

Keen has since released hotfix 1.0.1.2, dated November 4 and identified as version 1287369. Its notes list fixes for pinned recipes and several crashes, including a rare water crash. The 1.0.1.1 changes below refer to the preceding hotfix.

Which Fix Matters to Your Session?

Situation What Keen says changed Useful check after updating
Dialogue became difficult to hear after 1.0.1 Corrected voice-over volume Listen to dialogue again before rebuilding your audio balance around the regression
Everyone heard another player’s harvesting or loot-pickup sounds Fixed the session-wide playback problem Have one player gather while another listens from elsewhere
Voxel walls displayed the wrong textures Corrected the texture issue Revisit an affected wall before changing the build itself
A crash involved water simulation Fixed a related crash Note the activity and location if a crash still occurs
Performance suffered while a log filled with repeated errors Fixed the error-message spam Check whether the same symptom returns; the notes provide no FPS measurement
PS5 crashed while searching for dedicated servers Fixed that server-search crash Try the same search path after installing the update

The rightmost column provides a practical follow-up checklist. GamerHeadlines has not tested the fixes. The checklist can help you check whether the specific behavior addressed by the patch has changed in your session.

Co-op Players Should Recheck Sound Before Compensating for It

The two audio changes solve different problems. One concerns hearing the game’s dialogue; the other concerns unnecessary sound from another player’s actions. If both occurred in your group, changing a single master-volume slider would have been an awkward compromise.

After updating, start with a short listening check before settling into a longer session. If you adjusted your audio balance to compensate for quiet dialogue, reassess it now. If a sound problem remains, describe the action, which player performed it and who heard it. That information is more useful than treating every audio symptom as the same bug.

The PS5 Fix Is Specifically About Finding Dedicated Servers

Keen places the dedicated-server search crash in a separate PlayStation 5 section. It is narrower than a claim that every connection problem or server crash has been fixed. A search that completes but cannot join a session is a different symptom from the application closing during the search itself.

Install the available game update before comparing results with the table. When recording a report, include the installed version and software details displayed by your platform.

Players who encountered incorrect wall textures can revisit an affected build after updating. Our Enshrouded Sparkworks article covers a separate feature. This hotfix focuses on correcting existing behavior.
