Sucker Punch Productions co-founder Brian Flemming stated today on the Playsation Blog that “[User-Generated content] is not a part of this title” when referring to the upcoming game Infamous: Second Son. While the previous game in the series, Infamous 2, did include user-generated content it seems that this will not be carried over into the newest iteration of the franchise. The game was also confirmed to not contain online multiplayer, being a single player only title.
Flemming also stated on the blog that the game would not see a demo released before launch day on March 21, meaning that gamers will have to wait to get their hands on the upcoming super hero game. Infamous: Second Son is touting destructible cities as well as more important user choices as some of the key features in the newest installment of the Infamous franchise. As a flagship title for Sony’s PS4, there’s a lot of weight upon Second Son’s shoulders, and players expect it to successfully carry on the legacy set by previous Infamous titles.
